There has been a lot of buzz today about Google’s Augmented Reality Glasses. Personally, I’m really excited about this because one of my characters wears an augmented reality contact lens. It’s really cool/odd in awesome way to see that we’re one step closer to a hypothetical technology in my book.

What are these augmented reality glasses for??
It’s like having a computer set up in front of your eyes. You have a wireless connection to the world through them. For example, if you want to get information about restaurant, all you have to do it look at it and it’ll tell you the menu, give you reviews, etc. Or I could do fun things and virtually post paintings on a wall in hallway so that it appears more pleasant to me. It ‘augments’ reality by giving more information/details about the world through your sight.
